Question:417 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the steps, if any, he is taking to support organic research farming in 1994; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Organic Farming
I expect to have some EC Structural Funding available in 1994 for a number of organic farming areas including research. Details of this funding will not be available until the National Plan and the Operational Programme for Agriculture, Rural Development and Forestry for the period 1994-1999, are approved by the EU Commission later this year.
