107 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications whether he has investigated any possibilities for the further use of Allenwood Power Station, County Kildare following his recent decision to approve its closure; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

While I am not directly involved, I understand that the ESB will be having discussions with local interests to evaluate possible alternative uses for the station, with a view towards developing local enterprise.
