Question:146 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment if approval will be given to the Castlebar environmental sewerage scheme to include the Curradrish area; and when work might commence on this scheme.

A preliminary report for the Castlebar environs sewerage scheme, which would serve Curradrish, is under examination in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
