88 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for the Environment if he has any estimation of the cost which will fall on the State following recent incendiary devices which caused substantial damage to property in the State, compensation for which the Government will be responsible; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is no information available in my Department, at this stage, on the possible cost of any malicious injuries claims against local authorities arising from these incidents.
