Vol. 438 No. 6

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Doyle — the promised wheelchair facilities for Mount St. Joseph's primary school, New Ross, County Wexford; (2) Deputy Gay Mitchell — the need to sanction the appointment of at least two secretaries to service three schools (details supplied) in Dublin 12; (3) Deputy Jim Higgins — the need for funding to enable a person (details supplied) in County Dublin to participate in an astronautics course in the USA in view of the unique honour for this country his qualification for the course represents; (4) Deputy Flanagan — the unacceptable conditions at Edenderry Hospital, County Offaly, and the need for approval for a new unit.

All four matters are considered to be in order and have been selected accordingly.
