Question:73 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the total amounts collected by each local authority for water-service charges in 1993 or for the most recent twelve month period for which statistics are available.

The most recent information available in relation to domestic service charge collection levels relates to 1992. This is set out in the following table. While the information in respect of 1993 is not yet available in my Department, it is estimated that the overall collection level amounted to £36 million.
