Question:118 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education the number of extra remedial teachers which she proposes to appoint in 1994.
Written Answers. - Remedial Teacher Appointments.
As the Deputy may be aware, the Programme for a Partnership Government made a specific commitment to the appointment of a substantial number of additional remedial teachers by September 1996.
As part of this commitment, I propose to allocate an additional 100 remedial teachers to primary schools and an additional 25 remedial teachers to second level schools in 1994.
