Question:

61 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health the number of adults and children currently on waiting lists for orthodontic treatment in the Eastern Health Board area; if he will give in respect of each category the average waiting time for treatment; the number of persons on waiting lists for more than one year, two years, three years and four years respectively; and the longest period for which anyone has been on the current waiting list.

As the waiting lists for orthodontic treatment are maintained by the health boards I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to furnish the required information to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
