Vol. 439 No. 2

Written Answers. - Metalwork Room.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

167 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the problems in the structure of the junior metal room of Ard-Scoil Lorgan, Castleblayney, County Monaghan; and when she will be in a position to provide suitable premises.

My Department has received an application from County Monaghan Vocational Education Committee for replacement of the existing junior metalwork room at Ardscoil Lorgan, Castleblaney, by a permanent structure. This application is currently being examined in my Department in the context of the overall accommodation requirements of the school and it is hoped that a decision on the matter will be conveyed to County Monaghan Vocational Education Committee shortly.
