Question:

33 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he has received a submission for funding from the Cork Archives Institute; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A submission has recently been received from the Cork Archives Institute for grant aid to assist in the relocation from its present premises at Christ Church to a new purpose built premises at Albert Quay, Cork. This institute is jointly funded by the Cork local authorities and University College Cork. The responsibility for the relocation of the Institute rests with these bodies.
