108 Mrs. Doyle asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will extend the 50 per cent special buy-out price for land purchase annuities to 31 May 1994, to allow those who were not in a position to raise the money in 1993 the option of this special offer.

The original closing date for acceptance of the special buy-out price was 31 March 1993. It was extended to 31 May 1993 and in the circumstances it is not proposed to grant a further extension.
