73 Mr. Gregory asked the asked the Tánaiste and the Minister for Foreign Affairs arising from his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 48 of 28 October 1993, the progress that has been made in the case of a person (details supplied)
The person concerned has since been released from custody and is now pursuing an appeal through the courts. I myself met the person and a member of the family on 31 January 1994 and had the opportunity to hear at first hand their concerns about the case.
I can assure the Deputy that I will continue to keep the matter under close review.
