Vol. 439 No. 5

Written Answers. - Farm Land Ownership.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

133 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of farm holdings where the present occupant and owner is not the registered owner because administration was never taken out; if this will cause a problem for farmers in this position under the new farm retirement scheme; and the plans, if any, he has to deal with the matter.

Details of the number of occupants of farm holdings who are not the registered owners of the holdings are not available. Intending participants in the farm retirement scheme would need to bring their title to the land in question up to date.
