Question:18 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance the reason he has not published the analysis of trends in the labour market, which has been forwarded to the EC in support of Ireland's National Development Plan, 1994-1999.
Written Answers. - Labour Market Trends.
The National Development Plan 1994-1999 incorporated an analysis of the economic outlook including labour market trends. Information, supplementary to that contained in the plan, has since been supplied to the European Commission at its request. In particular, an analysis of trends in the labour market has been forwarded. The Operational Programme for Human Resources, which is being discussed with the Commission services at present, will be published and will outline in considerable detail the content, objectives and proposed expenditure profile of the different measures relating to the development of human resources.
