93 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for the Environment if he will consider favourably the proposals for refurbishment of Mullingar swimming pool, Mullingar, County Westmeath, made to his Department by Westmeath County Council, and if he will instruct the council to proceed with the preparation of the contract documents, which could take six to eight months; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I refer to the reply to Question No. 58 of 9 November 1993. I am not in a position to advance the project at this stage for the reasons set out in that reply.
