282 Mr. Doherty asked the Minister for Education the total remuneration paid to holders of posts of responsibility at primary school level; and the total remuneration paid to holders of posts of responsibility at secondary school level.

The total remuneration paid in 1993 to holders of posts of responsibility in each of the categories referred to by the Deputy was as follows:

Primary	£19,610,780
Post-Primary*	£20,151,000

*Excluding the vocational sector for which the figures are not readily available.
