112 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Health if he will authorise the implementation of the development plan for the Naas General Hospital, County Kildare in the event of the review group so recommending before the end of the year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The work of the review group in relation to the Naas General Hospital is ongoing. I understand that it will be some months before the group reports. I will, on receipt of the report, have it examined in my Department. Its recommendations will be considered in the context of the availability of resources and competing demands for such resources country-wide in 1994 and future years.
