Question:

125 Mr. Cullen asked the Minister for Justice the number of crimes reported in the categories of assault, including muggings, attacks and other such crimes, larceny, including burglary and other such crimes, and other categories of crimes which have taken place in O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, in the last five years for which figures are available.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information which is readily available relates to recorded indictable crime for the Store Street Garda sub-district which includes the O'Connell Street area. This information is set out in the following tabular statement:
