63 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if the Garda investigated a reported organised dog-fight and the use of live animals to blood dogs at Brickfield Park, Drimnagh, Dublin 12, at 10.30 p.m. on Saturday 16 April 1994; and the action, if any, they are taking in the matter.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that they have investigated the allegations referred to by the Deputy, but have found no evidence to substantiate them. All reported incidents of alleged organised dog-fighting are fully investigated by the Garda authorities and any person with such information should bring it to the attention of the Garda authorities so that the matter can be fully investigated.
