Question:28 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Justice when she proposes to fill the vacancy in Kilcolgan Garda Station, County Galway; and the plans, if any, she has for the refurbishment of Kilcolgan Garda station.

The Garda authorities intend to fill the vacancy at Kilcolgan station as soon as necessary work has been carried out at the station. The Office of Public Works is currently examining the options for improving the accommodation at the station.
