Vol. 442 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

John O'Leary

Question:

168 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when payment of increased premium grants will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry, in respect of trees which he planted over a year ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The forest premium scheme under which the person concerned can be considered for a premium was approved by the European Commission only last week. In order to determine his eligibility under this new scheme further information has been requested from the applicant. On receipt of this the application will be processed as quickly as possible.
