103 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the current status of the Health Promotion Advisory Committee; whether he intends to further develop the role of the health promotion unit; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I have given a commitment in the recently published Health Strategy "Shaping a Healthier Future" that a detailed health promotion strategy will be one of a number of further documents which will be published in the coming months. I am currently reviewing all aspects of the existing national health promotion framework in the context of finalising this health promotion strategy.
