Question:78 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment when he made the order upgrading in status, the road from Swinford to Ballina, County Mayo to national secondary status and the road from Castlebar to Westport to national primary status; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 76 and 78 together.
Subject to consultation with the National Roads Authority, I propose to reclassify these roads to national primary status. The necessary orders will be made as soon as possible.
