Question:84 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
The applications of the person named for grants under the January-February and June 1993 special beef premium schemes were rejected at a computer validation check because of invalid tag numbers. When the matter is resolved following clarification from the herdowner payments will then be made. He did not apply for grants under the special beef premium scheme in the November 1993 application period.

Question:85 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.
The application of the person named for grants under the January-February 1993 special beef premium scheme was rejected at a computer validation check because of inconsistent ages. The matter has now been resolved following clarification from the herdowner and payment will be made shortly. He applied for premium on 25 animals under the November 1993 22 month special beef premium scheme but 12 of these animals were ineligible for premium as they were not 21 months of age at date of application. Payment on the remaining 13 eligible animals will be made shortly.

The applications of the persons named for grants under the June and November 1993 ten month special beef premium schemes are being processed at present and payments will be made shortly. Their application for grants under the November 1993 22 month special beef premium scheme was rejected at a computer validation check because of age inconsistencies. When the matter is resolved following clarification from the herdowner payment will then be made.
