Vol. 443 No. 1

Written Answers. - Domiciliary Care Allowance.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

136 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the reason domiciliary care allowance has been refused in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Payment of domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
