Question:41 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Health the total number of persons who are deemed to have died from heart disease in each of the past three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The number of persons who died from heart disease in the years 1990 to 1992 inclusive is set out in a table which I will have circulated in the Official Report. The 1993 figure is not yet available.
