Vol. 443 No. 3

Written Answers. - Appointment of Consultant Cardiologist.

Peadar Clohessy

Question:

52 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has to appoint a cardiologist to Limerick Regional Hospital in view of his national health strategy.

I have provided funding this year for the appointment of a consultant cardiologist for the Mid-Western Health Board. It is expected that the appointee will take up duty towards the end of 1994.
