Question:68 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health the total number of persons who are HIV positive at 26 May 1994; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - HIV Positive Statistics.
At present, data in respect of HIV in Ireland is based on the number of tests which have been confirmed as positive by the Virus Reference Laboratory, UCD. This monitoring shows that at 31 March 1994, 1,472 individuals have tested positive.
