Question:

103 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education if her Department has been successful in securing a place in a secondary school, beginning in September 1994, for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 who wishes to repeat fifth year.

I have asked my Department's Inspectorate to make inquiries into this case with a view to securing a school place for the pupil in question.

I will be in touch with the Deputy when those inquiries have been completed.
