Question:43 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Finance the per capita income on a county by county basis for the latest year for which figures are available.
Written Answers. - Per Capita Income Statistics.
Income statistics are not compiled by the Central Statistics Office on a county by county basis. The latest data available on county incomes is for 1973. This was published in NESC Report No. 30 in July 1977.
In view of the changes which have taken place in the economy since 1973 it would not be appropriate to use these NESC figures as indicators of the current position with regard to relative county incomes.
