Question:66 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Health the financial assistance for capital and running costs made available by his Department or any agency under the aegis of his Department to the Raheny Hospice.
Written Answers. - Raheny (Dublin) Hospice Funding.
Since 1991, St. Francis Hospice has received annual support from my Department through national lottery funds. These funds are routed through the Eastern Health Board and for the three years to the end of 1993 amounted to £200,000.
The hospice has applied for further lottery funding in 1994. This application is currently being examined within my Department.
