Theresa Ahearn

Question:

125 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef subsidy in respect of 37 animals will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The application of the person named for the June 1993 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and any payment due will be made shortly.

126 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when suckler cow premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named was allocated a quota of 54 suckler cows from the 1993 special suckler cow reserve. On this basis his 1993 suckler cow premium scheme application is now being processed and any payment due will be made shortly.

127 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. There is no November-December 1992 special beef premium application under the herd number quoted.

128 Mr. Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny) asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim will receive the balance of beef premium; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named has been requested to furnish particulars of his milk quota and when he does so his application for grants under the January-February 1993 special beef premium scheme will be processed further and any balance due will then be paid.

129 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid sheep premium.

I have arranged to have the case of the person named examined with a view to payment of his full entitlement under the 1994 ewe premium and sheep headage schemes.

130 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid a cattle headage grant.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. My Department is unable to trace a herd number for the person named. The registered owner of herd number P281620 has been paid the total amount due to him under the cattle headage scheme.
