Question:39 Mr. Gregory asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the response, if any, he has received from the British authorities regarding the request of a person (details supplied) to have his case reopened.

I am aware of the case in question and have had the matter raised with the British Government through the framework of the Anglo-Irish Agreement. I have not yet received a response from the British authorities. I shall communicate with the Deputy when relevant information comes to hand.
