Question:63 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Justice the progress that has been made in relation to Parliamentary Question No. 47 of Thursday, 13 February 1992; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Complaint about Company's Affairs.
I have been informed by the Garda authorities that the matters referred to by the complainant were the subject of a Garda investigation and that a file was referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions. In 1989 the DPP directed that criminal proceedings were not warranted. The DPP reaffirmed this decision in May, 1992 when the case was referred to him again. I understand that the complainant was notified of this decision, on 21 May 1992, both verbally and in writing, by the Garda authorities.
