Question:

71 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment if there is any provision for a place on the board of the Custom House Docks Development Authority for a representative of the local community.

The legal provisions relating to membership of the Custom House Docks Development Authority are contained in the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 and the Urban Renewal (Amendment) Act, 1987 (No. 16 of 1987). There is no specific provision for a place on the board of the authority for a representative of the local community or of any other interest concerned.
