Question:59 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment the up-to-date position regarding the Westport sewerage and sewage disposal scheme in County Mayo.

I recently approved the preliminary report for this scheme and the local authority has been advised to have contract documents prepared. The scheme has already been approved for funding under the Cohesion Fund.
