Question:115 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the number of Aeroflot flights which landed at Shannon for the first five months of 1993 and the first five months of 1994.

The question of aircraft movements at any of the State airports is a day to day matter for Aer Rianta, the State body responsible for managing these airports.
Aer Rianta have informed me that the number of Aeroflot flights which landed at Shannon in the periods requested by the Deputy is as follows: January — May 1993, 913; January — May 1994, 698.
