134 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the total number of long-stay geriatric patients in the various public hospital beds throughout the country at present; the total number of nursing staff deployed to cater exclusively for these patients; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is assumed that the Deputy is referring to the number of long-stay geriatric patients occupying acute public hospital beds. This information is not available in my Department.
