179 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Social Welfare the number of appointments made to State Boards, boards of semi-State bodies and statutory bodies under the aegis of his Department since this Government took office. [797/94]
There are two statutory agencies under the aegis of my Department, namely the Combat Poverty Agency and the Pensions Board.
There have been a total of nine appointments made to the boards of these bodies since the present Government took office; seven to the board of the Combat Poverty Agency and two to the Pensions Board.
