Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Michael Finucane

Question:

108 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when goat headage will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [1634/94]

My Department has no record of having received applications for the 1993 or 1994 goat headage schemes from the person named.

Jim Higgins

Question:

109 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive payment of special beef premium for the years 1992 and 1993. [1635/94]

The person named was an applicant for the December 1992 special beef premium scheme on 51 animals but only presented 47 eligible animals at inspection. Initially he was disqualified from the scheme and debarred from the 1993 scheme. However, after a review of his case, my Department has now accepted that the four ineligible animals declared on his application were included because of an innocent error and arrangements are now being made to have the outstanding premia paid to him within the next two weeks.

Jim Higgins

Question:

110 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Galway will be paid his slaughter premium for 1993. [1636/94]

The application of the person named for grants under the 1993 slaughter premium scheme was rejected when subjected to a computer validation check. If it is found in order following further checking, payment of any grants due to him under this scheme will be made shortly.

Dinny McGinley

Question:

111 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when 1994 ewe premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal. [1640/94]

The person named has requested that her application under the 1994 ewe premium scheme be transferred into her son's name. This is being considered at present and my Department will communicate with the Deputy as soon as a decision has been made in the matter.

Michael Finucane

Question:

112 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made for the transfer of cow suckler premium to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [1652/94]

The first person named, whose farm is located in the disadvantaged areas, sought approval to have his suckler cow quota transferred to the second person named, whose farm is located outside the disadvantaged areas.

Approval cannot be given because, under EU rules, quota cannot be transferred out of the disadvantaged areas.

Both persons were notified of this in August 1994.
