51 Mr. Costello asked the Minister for Justice if she will consider transferring the vehicle tow-away service operated by the Garda Síochana to the local authority as requested by Dublin Corporation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1739/94]
Dublin Corporation has written to my Department about a number of traffic law enforcement issues, including the tow-away service. My Department is currently seeking clarification of some of the points raised by the corporation and when this is to hand, the matter will be further considered, in consultation with the Department of the Environment.
