Written Answers. - Local Authority Overdraft Facilities.
While maximum limits for local authority overdraft facilities are approved, the amount of interest payable in any individual case depends on the level of overdraft required from day-to-day. Information on the amount of overdraft interest paid by each local authority on revenue and capital accounts is available in my Department in respect of 1993 only and I propose to circulate a table showing these amounts in the Official Report.
