Question:124 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [2460/94]

The person named applied for premium on one animal under the June 1993 ten month special beef premium scheme. He was paid an advance of £31.63 on 5 December 1993 and the balance of £21.10 on 27 April 1994. He applied for premium again on one animal under the November 1993 22 month special beef premium scheme. The month of birth he declared for this animal was inconsistent with that on a previous application form and this gave rise to a delay in processing his application. The matter has now been resolved and a pay order will issue shortly.
