Question:131 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number of times the monitoring committee of the Commission on the Status of Women has met. [2437/94]

The monitoring committee met on one occasion prior to the publication of the First Progress Report on the implementation of the Recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women.
It is intended to hold a meeting of this committee very shortly to review and analyse the progress made since the publication of the first report and to prepare the second progress report for publication.
