116 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Justice if she has received any complaint from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 in relation to an aptitude test for selection to the Garda Síochána; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2713/94]

Recruitment to the Garda Síochána is by open competition conducted by the Civil Service Commissions at the request of the Garda Síochána. The Commission is an independent body in this respect and the Deputy will appreciate that I have no function in the matter.
