210 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for the Environment when the necessary funds will be made available to enable Galway County Council to connect a number of houses on the Galway Road, Tuam, County Galway to the new sewerage scheme, in view of the fact that the connection was to have been carried out last year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has advised Galway County Council that further extensions of the Tuam sewage collection system should be addressed within the planning of Stage 2 of the Tuam Main Drainage Scheme for which the County Council is now preparing a preliminary report.
