93 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the sanction of a grant for the Inis Mór water supply scheme, Aran Islands, County Galway; when this scheme will be sanctioned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3535/94]

Galway County Council is preparing contract documents for this scheme at present. Tenders have been submitted for the site investigation contract and these are currently under examination in my Department.
