Vol. 448 No. 2

Written Answers. - Tramore (Waterford) Health Centre.

Brendan Kenneally

Question:

15 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Health the present position regarding the provision of a new health centre in Tramore, County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1259/95]

Limerick East): The 1995 capital allocation for health centres has not yet been finalised. The provision of funds for the development of a new health centre in Tramore will be considered as sympathetically as possible in the light of the resources available and the competing priorities. The Deputy will be aware that almost £3 million has already been committed to the South Eastern Health Board for the development of a new community care headquarters and health centre in Waterford city, the construction of which will commence this year.
