Vol. 448 No. 3

Written Answers. - Ballyshannon (Donegal) Garda Station.

Mary Coughlan

Question:

150 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Justice if her attention has been drawn to the need for the provision of a new Garda Station in Ballyshannon. County Donegal; the timescale for the provision of this station; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2124/95]

A number of options for improving Garda accommodation at Ballyshannon have been under consideration. The Office of Public Works has drawn up a sketch scheme for the development of the existing site, which is currently being considered by Garda management. It is not possible at this stage to say when the work will be completed.
