70 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health the number of hip and knee joint replacement operations carried out in each of the last ten years; and the waiting lists in each case. [1841/95]

My Department is currently finalising the analysis of the end-1994 waiting lists and I would hope to be in a position to make an announcement regarding waiting lists as at 31 December 1994, including the position as regards waiting lists for orthopaedic procedures in the near future.
